Philosophy
At Teaching Wonders Child Learning Center we create an environment that optimizes learning at each age level. We know that a child’s entire day is filled with opportunities to grow. Our educators care, observe, create a rich, and fun hands-on program. To facilitate in our journey to help children learn and develop needed skills we have created a year round multi cultural curriculum providing exploration in Science, Language , Art, Mathematics, and Music. All little learners are presented with the tools to spark creativity, and further knowledge about their world around them.
Health & Safety
At Teaching Wonders Child Learning Center your child's health and safety is one of our top priorities. Our teachers are trained in all aspects of health and safety. Each Teacher is required to submit to a background check through the national FBI database as well as a through local law enforcement. These backgrounds checks are conducted by the Department of Early Care & Education. Teachers are also certified in handling food, CPR and First Aid.
To ensure your child's safety in an emergency situation we conduct monthly fire and evacuation drills along quarterly lock down and severe weather drills. Each teacher has a classroom backpack with all emergency gear, plans and phone numbers. The exterior doors to our school has a parent safety lock only accessible by parents who have children attending our school or by employees of the school that have a 4 digit code. Visitors are required to check in with the classroom teacher and provide current identification. If the individual is on the child's enrollment to pickup only then will we release. Enrollment forms can not be changed unless court documents are provided. Court and family plans must be current and will be followed for the safety of the child. All children entering and exiting must be in an age appropriate car seat as we are mandated to report such violations.
